Our Story
In 2001, L.B. Bryant began their torrid love affair with the performance art of ballroom dance. Starting in a dance studio in University Place, Washington, L.B. quickly grew annoyed with the emphasis being on how much we could get students to spend rather than getting them to love dancing. After going independent a little over a year later, L.B. made it their mission to offer affordable and accessible beginner and advanced ballroom dance classes to the public while constantly striving to improve their own personal skills (a mission that has continued into the present day).
In the years that followed, L.B. taught students all across Western Washington and Oregon before finally settling down in Port Orchard, Washington at the end of 2015. Since 2016, Port Orchard Dance has continued the mission to offer affordable and accessible ballroom dance classes in both group and private lesson formats for anyone who wants to learn!
